Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to meet strict delivery windows.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic or physical signatures for receipt of goods.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery records and daily mileage using handheld devices.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients at every stop, maintaining a professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record with no recent DUIs or serious traffic violations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic understanding of GPS navigation systems and smartphone technology.
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and flexible scheduling availability.
