Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to customers within the designated route and time windows.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and DOT regulations.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, organized, and maintained in good working condition.
- Interact professionally with customers, handle cash/card transactions, and resolve minor issues.
- Utilize handheld mobile devices to scan packages, update delivery status, and navigate efficiently.
- Sort and organize incoming cargo before loading the vehicle.
- Complete daily logs and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using navigation apps and delivery management software.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
