Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport freight to designated locations in the Wichita metro area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor as required.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify any mechanical issues.
- Interact professionally with customers at delivery sites, handling any issues or special instructions with courtesy.
- Complete and submit accurate delivery paperwork, including bills of lading and mileage logs.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT physical card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (commercial preferred).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
