Job Summary
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. You will interact with customers directly, ensuring satisfaction and representing the company brand positively.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Verify delivery contents against invoices and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
- Practice excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Adhere to safety protocols and conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on vehicle type).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Clear driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and flexible hours.
