Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in top condition and secure cargo.
- Load and unload merchandise efficiently, ensuring all packages are handled with care and placed in the designated areas.
- Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and the loading dock facility at all times.
- Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and electronic reporting systems to ensure compliance.
- Resolve any delivery discrepancies or customer concerns on-site to ensure first-time delivery success.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and reporting systems.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
