Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes based on real-time conditions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Proficient in using navigation apps and mobile delivery platforms
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of Portland metropolitan area
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
