Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and food deliveries across New Orleans metropolitan area
- Load/unload goods with precision, ensuring zero damage during transit
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch team in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Proficient with smartphone apps and basic navigation tools
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of New Orleans geography preferred
