Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, or goods throughout Fresno County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and package handling
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Fresno streets and surrounding areas
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Reliable transportation to/from depot (non-delivery vehicle)
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Customer service mindset with problem-solving skills
