Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages safely and efficiently to residential and commercial addresses throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times, ensuring a professional appearance.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic signatures or photos upon successful drop-off.
- Use handheld devices and delivery apps to track routes, update delivery status in real-time, and communicate with dispatch.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve any delivery issues or exceptions on the spot.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Reliable personal vehicle or access to a company-provided van or truck.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology and delivery tracking software.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude with a focus on punctuality.
