Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers in and around New Orleans.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a secure delivery process.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and handling delivery documentation accurately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general maintenance of the delivery truck at all times.
- Follow the designated delivery routes and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery exceptions to the dispatch team immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Reliable smartphone for GPS navigation and real-time updates.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts as required.
