Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to residential and commercial addresses in New Orleans and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs.
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle before and after each shift.
- Utilize handheld devices to track delivery status, update logs, and report issues instantly.
- Load and unload merchandise efficiently to ensure timely service and prevent damage.
- Follow specific route instructions to optimize travel time and fuel efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major infractions within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Reliable smartphone with data capabilities for navigation and app usage.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Residency in or willingness to commute to the New Orleans, LA area.
