Responsibilities
- Safely transport food, retail, and medical deliveries using company-provided vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time arrivals
- Verify order accuracy and maintain pristine customer service standards
- Manage cash transactions and digital payments securely
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to food safety protocols for temperature-controlled deliveries
- Resolve delivery exceptions proactively with excellent communication
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Reliable personal vehicle or ability to pass company vehicle assessment
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order verification
- Strong local geography knowledge of New Orleans area
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
