Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service when delivering packages or freight.
- Accurately handle and document all delivery paperwork and proof of delivery forms.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Update delivery status in the company's digital tracking system in real-time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driving experience.
- Clear and valid MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major violations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for navigation and communication.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
