Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently in multi-state routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for on-time deliveries
- Handle no-touch freight with proper loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Northeast corridor routes preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must pass background check and motor vehicle report
- Experience with refrigerated or flatbed freight a plus
