Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight and materials
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery records using electronic logging devices
- Coordinate with dispatch and customers for efficient route execution
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle troubleshooting
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication abilities for customer interactions
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
