Job Overview
We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and possess a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. As a Delivery Driver with Metro Freight Solutions, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring that our clients receive their packages with care and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to designated delivery locations in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every interaction, ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery times, proof of delivery (POD), and vehicle condition.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, including lifting packages up to 50 lbs.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and adhere to all traffic laws and company protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and digital documentation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
