Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the designated route.
- Ensure timely arrivals and maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Inspect delivery vehicles daily to ensure they are clean, safe, and in good working order.
- Handle package handling with care to prevent damage or loss.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to scan packages and update delivery status in real-time.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using smartphone apps for navigation and logging.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
