Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in Long Beach
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect and maintain assigned delivery vehicle (gas, maintenance checks)
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Long Beach neighborhoods preferred
