Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for local and regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Deliver freight to distribution centers and customer sites on schedule
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route navigation and time management
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and techniques
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Indiana and Midwest roadways
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends
