Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (semi-trucks) for local/regional routes
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (TX preferred)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and regulations
- Flexibility for early morning start times
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging
