Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous driver logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip for safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for optimal route efficiency
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients and logistics teams
- Document delivery receipts and resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- 2+ years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong navigation skills and route planning abilities
