Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of freight
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and navigation
- Report maintenance issues and perform basic preventative checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and hazmat handling (preferred)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for overnight travel and variable schedules
