Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated addresses across New York City.
- Verify delivery contents against manifests to ensure accuracy and prevent loss.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every stop, including friendly greetings and professional packaging handling.
- Inspect vehicle condition daily, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and timesheets using our digital tracking system.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Handle cash or digital transactions for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders when applicable.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Proficient smartphone usage for navigation, logging, and communication.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
