Responsibilities
- Safely and timely delivery of packages and documents throughout Chicago metropolitan area
- Route optimization using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Professional customer interaction during delivery and pickup processes
- Maintenance of vehicle cleanliness and pre/post-trip inspections
- Accurate documentation of deliveries using our digital tracking system
- Adherence to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaboration with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Chicago street layout
