Responsibilities
- Safely pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Charlotte metro area and surrounding regions.
- Verify the contents of packages and ensure they are delivered in the correct condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance while representing the company brand.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle daily to ensure it is clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or safety hazards to management immediately.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver's License (or equivalent) is required.
- A clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to the company depot.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
