Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport packages safely and efficiently to designated delivery points.
- Verify the accuracy of delivered items against manifests to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling inquiries and exceptions with a positive attitude.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Follow strict safety protocols and traffic laws at all times to maintain a clean driving record.
- Update delivery status in the logistics management system in real-time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of local streets and traffic patterns in the Nashville area.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable smartphone access for route updates and digital documentation.
