Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring packages are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures from recipients as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer any questions regarding deliveries.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and cargo area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Must have a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
