Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records using GPS tracking and mobile scanning technology
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve any delivery-related inquiries
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and maintain on-time performance
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management as required
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining team communication
