Responsibilities
- Safely Transport Goods: Deliver packages and materials to designated locations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and clients, handling inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and in good working order.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork accurately.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks).
- Schedule Adherence: Maintain strict adherence to delivery routes and time schedules to meet service level agreements.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery or logistics is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable with a history of consistent attendance.
- Technology: Comfortable using handheld devices for navigation and digital proof of delivery.
