Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses using GPS navigation
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Verify delivery accuracy through signature capture and photo documentation
- Maintain exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Handle returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries with professionalism
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Proficient with smartphone apps and GPS navigation systems
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
