Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses.
- Ensure timely delivery of items, adhering to established routes and schedules.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any delivery issues or complaints.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle daily for cleanliness, safety, and mechanical issues before and after routes.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and proof of delivery (POD) using mobile apps.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic computer literacy and smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and logging.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Available to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
