Responsibilities
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring cargo security.
- Follow designated delivery routes and time schedules to ensure on-time performance.
- Interact positively and professionally with customers upon delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and mileage logs.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class B or Commercial Driver's License preferred).
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic understanding of navigation systems and GPS technology.
