Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and meet daily targets
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure safe operating conditions and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to communicate delays or route changes
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with sorting and organizing packages at the distribution center
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (delivery, rideshare, or commercial driving preferred)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Fresno and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
