Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles following all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to delivery time windows and maintain punctuality standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Dallas/Fort Worth metro area roadways
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery app navigation
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned depot
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
