Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods within specified timeframes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical condition
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and problem resolution
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures using proper equipment
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte metro area and NC highway systems
- Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation apps
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
