Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles following all traffic laws and company protocols
- Efficiently manage multi-stop routes using GPS navigation systems
- Verify delivery orders, handle payments, and obtain customer signatures
- Maintain clean, organized vehicles and perform routine safety checks
- Communicate proactively with customers and dispatch regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management
- Adhere to all safety standards and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Virginia Beach area strongly preferred
