Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to residential and commercial addresses throughout New York City.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and resolving delivery issues.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks or pallet jacks, ensuring items are secured properly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Use handheld devices for route planning, navigation, and digital proof of delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic English proficiency for communication with dispatch and customers.
- Reliable smartphone compatible with our delivery app.
