Job Overview
As a Delivery Driver for Coastline Logistics, you will be the face of our company. You will ensure that our clients in Long Beach and surrounding areas receive their orders safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and parcels to residential and commercial customers in Long Beach, CA.
- Inspect delivery vehicles for cleanliness and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Obtain proper signatures and ensure proof of delivery for all items.
- Practice defensive driving techniques and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while interacting with customers.
- Manage time efficiently to meet daily delivery targets and routes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of the Long Beach, CA area and surrounding regions.
- Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle and smartphone.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
