Responsibilities
- Securely load and unload packages and merchandise from delivery vehicles.
- Deliver products to residential and commercial addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Interact professionally and courteously with existing and prospective customers.
- Verify delivery addresses and collect payments or obtain signatures as required.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery activities and mileage.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class D or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for navigation and safety.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the depot.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed.
