Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Chicago area within the promised timeframe.
- Inspect delivery vehicles before and after shifts to ensure they are clean and in good working condition.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling packages with care.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and mapping applications to optimize delivery routes.
- Obtain electronic signatures and proof of delivery (POD) for all packages.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery exceptions to the dispatch team immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License required.
- Must have a clean driving record (no major traffic violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Must possess a reliable smartphone (Android or iOS) for navigation and app use.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and digital payments.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
