Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses in Tucson.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and handling packages with care.
- Utilize handheld devices to log deliveries and update status in real-time.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Complete daily mileage and fuel reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (Class B CDL preferred for some routes).
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT 1092) if driving a commercial vehicle.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery information.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the USA.
