Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to designated locations on time.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are handled with care and placed in the correct delivery order.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic or handwritten signatures as required.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery records, mileage, and vehicle condition.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve any delivery issues or complaints on the spot.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or DUIs in the past 5 years.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the USA.
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology for electronic signatures and route navigation.
