Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring cargo is secured and protected during transit.
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and resolve any delivery exceptions on the spot.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and assisting with packages.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Follow strict time schedules and route maps to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and warehouse area.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or standard driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and handheld delivery scanners.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
