Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles for time-sensitive shipments across Metro Detroit
- Load/unload packages with precision and maintain accurate inventory records
- Navigate efficiently using GPS technology while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Complete digital delivery confirmations and route optimization tasks
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and digital navigation tools
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
