Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in a timely and safe manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver friendly, professional service while obtaining signatures and handling returns.
- Route Planning: Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs and receipts.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Prior experience in delivery, logistics, or transportation is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a commitment to safety standards.
