Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout Detroit Metro
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status via mobile tracking systems
- Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicle
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean MVR record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
