Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and transport packages to designated locations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route adjustments and customer requests
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class B or equivalent)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Minimum 1 year of delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 70 pounds
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
