Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses within the assigned zone.
- Verify and document the condition of items upon pickup and delivery, ensuring accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and communicating effectively with clients.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, ensure cleanliness, and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices for navigation, route planning, and electronic proof of delivery.
- Handle cash or card transactions accurately and resolve any delivery discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record and no major violations.
- Ability to lift, carry, and stack packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Reliable personal transportation and valid auto insurance (minimum required coverage).
- Access to a smartphone with data capabilities for communication and route tracking.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
