Responsibilities
- Execute timely and accurate deliveries to residential and commercial locations within San Jose.
- Utilize handheld devices for navigation, route optimization, and electronic proof of delivery.
- Interact positively with customers, handling transactions and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Handle package handling with care, including loading, unloading, and organization.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Access to a reliable vehicle (sedan, van, or SUV) with current registration and insurance.
- Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
