Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout San Jose
- Verify delivery accuracy using scanning technology and obtain customer signatures when required
- Maintain clean, organized vehicles and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch teams regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and maintain inventory records
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in logistics/transportation
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of San Jose streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with mobile delivery apps and scanning technology
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
